Our gaming related experience is broad and varied, including:
Service as accounting and economic analysts to the Colorado Division of Gaming for approximately 10 years.
- Preparation of an annual evaluation of the financial and operating statements of the state’s various gaming entities.
- Preparation of summary information by gaming locale and casino size.
- Recommendations for taxation changes and participation in related open and executive session meetings of the Colorado Gaming Commission.
Evaluation of damages claims of Central City casino interests against a their prior law firm in relation to economic facts and circumstances relevant to the construction of the Central City Parkway (I-70 connection). We drew on our multi-year knowledge of gaming in Central City and Black Hawk in an evaluation and critique of damages claims asserted by the Central City casino interest.
We also assisted a casino document its gaming controls for the purpose of obtaining another casino license.
